Stacy Grissim

After more than 30 years in Nashville, Tennessee, she and her husband chose to embrace a different pace of life, one rooted in nature, community, and intentional living. Five years ago, they discovered a remarkable property high in the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina, with sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views, and instantly knew they had found home.

Her professional career spans decades in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sales, where she thrived in high-performance environments centered on relationship-building, service, and leadership. Alongside her professional work, she remained deeply involved in the wellness and fitness community through cycling, running, yoga, and the YMCA, while also dedicating time to mentoring women through prison ministry.

As a mother, grandmother, and passionate animal advocate, family and community have always been at the heart of her life. Moving to Western North Carolina opened the door to a new creative chapter, one focused on beauty, thoughtful design, and creating meaningful spaces that bring people together. Designing and building their mountain home inspired a deeper appreciation for intentional living and the role home plays as both a sanctuary and gathering place.

What began as a dream of mountain living quickly became something even more meaningful. Franklin offered an authentic sense of community, lasting friendships, and a lifestyle filled with both adventure and connection. From hiking trails, waterfalls, yoga, and walks along the Little Tennessee River greenway to entertaining friends and supporting local causes, life in the mountains has proven both grounding and enriching.

She remains actively involved with the local animal shelter and hosts an annual fundraiser benefiting homeless animals in the community. Her passion for connection, wellness, hospitality, and thoughtful living continues to influence the vision behind River Green, a place designed for those seeking beauty, simplicity, and an elevated mountain lifestyle, whether as a full-time home or a peaceful retreat from city life.
